7 Minute Egg
Transcript:
Here we are making 7 minute eggs. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Make an ice bath and keep nearby. Add eggs all at once and immediately start a 7 minute timer. When the timer goes off, scoop out the eggs and place them into the bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Once cool, peel the eggs. We like to crack the eggs and submerge them back in the ice water. This allows the water to work its way between the egg and the shell, making it easier to peel. A jammy, soft boiled egg is a great addition to salads and many savory dishes.

Cut the eggs in half or quarters. The yolks should be totally set and seasoned with flaky sea salt to finish.
