Shopping List November 24th
This week’s chef notes:
The squash and apple salad calls for pepitas. You can purchase these, or save the seeds from the delicata and toast them in the oven (add a bit of olive oil and salt and place them on a tray at 375°F for about 8-10 minutes… keep an eye on them and make sure they don’t get too dark. You may hear them popping as they toast, this means they are nearly ready!
Feel free to substitute any salty, crumbly cheese for the cotija. Feta or a ricotta salata would be tasty!
