This week’s chef notes:

  • Chives are for the Salad Niçoise, but just as a garnish. Feel free to sub any other tender herb, like a few leaves of chopped basil, tarragon, or some of the parsley.\

  • Oyster sauce is a staple condiment in my fridge! My favorite brands Maekrua, a Thai oyster sauce or Lee Kum Kee oyster sauce aka "the boat lady".
